The Armory
Artifacts, curiosities, and tools of the trade.
Niva's Badge
Insignia
An intelligence officer's badge, now stained with the blood of a sewer worker. It represents the failure of the system to protect those who built it.
Alilberry Extract
Potion / Poison
A pearlescent grey mist derived from a rare herb, processed through dwarven glass and sung over by a mute bard. One drop cures; two drops kill.
Soul of Viyu
Artifact
A fragment of an ancient soul, pulsating with a faint, rhythmic light. It whispers to those who hold it, promising power at a terrible cost.
Corrigan's .38 Revolver
Weapon
A cold, heavy piece of steel that has seen better days. It is the only thing Corrigan trusts in a city full of liars and shadows. It fired the final shot in the Case of the Mirror Man.
Dark Green Beret
Military Apparel
A wool beret with twenty-two silver stars stitched into the side by Lenia. It is the only thing Lorhud Krauper has left from his daughter, and he never takes it off.
Chronometer of Ash
Tool / Artifact
A brass sphere powered by the ash of Glareach. It allows the user to relive exactly one hour of their past. The glass is unbreakable, ensuring the user can only observe, never intervene.
Valeth's Notebook
Journal
A navy blue notebook with a single silver star on the cover. It contains the observations of a diplomat who sees too much, documenting the rot at the heart of Thornus. Recently stolen by Nex Orlong outside the Kosnak Estate.
Touch of Rose
Disease / Mark
A devastating affliction that manifests as a crimson rose-leaf mark on the forehead. It slowly drains the victim's motor functions and speech, eventually leaving them in a vegetative state. Its only known cure is a rare drop of Alilberry.
Government Medal for Science
Award
A heavy gold disc awarded for exceptional scientific achievement. To Avalia Krones, it is a symbol of her gilded cage and the government's attempt to buy her loyalty.
The Krones Formula
Scientific Data / Discovery
A revolutionary method for accelerating agricultural growth. While publicly used to end hunger, the government seeks its hidden 'weaponized' potential, which Avalia carefully conceals.
Leatherwave's Dried Fish
Food / Treat
Simple, salty snacks used to bribe the Council of Three. They represent the simple joys of a quiet life.
Sansu Syrup
Ancient Bio-Catalyst
An iridescent, vibrating fluid harvested from deep pockets within Proxan Mountain. Used by Proxanians for communal neural links. When pressurized with Viyu gas, it becomes a violent crimson 'Agitated' state.
Crimson Binder
Stabilizer / Pathogen
A viscous red concentrate used by Proxanians to bridge biological neural networks. Willare Frindjen mistakenly added this to the Krones Formula thinking it was nitrogen. Avalia realized this too late, knowing that the binder is now searching for a neural host in humans.
Proxanian Seeds
Biological Hardware
Dormant seeds of extinct flora that grew on Proxan Mountain. They respond only to the 'Proxanian Echo' and were the true foundation of the Krones Formula.
Proxanian Echo
Acoustic Artifact / Frequency
The background psychic frequency of the extinct Children of the Mountain. Avalia Krones sought to harness this for her 'botanical network', but it is now the phantom signal that the 'Touch of Rose' victims are biologically trying to connect to.
Ash of Glareach
Catalyst / Fuel
Fine gray powder harvested from the burn-sites of the old city. It retains the 'chronological weight' of the fire, making it the only substance capable of powering a Chronometer or stabilizing a RedLink.
The Skulls in the Rafters
Macabre Trophy
The hidden remains of Penta Kosnak's parents, kept as a secret trophy by Wulf Kosnak. They represent the silent, horrific truth at the heart of the capital's ruling class.
Nitrogen Booster (Batch #4)
Industrial Chemical
A standard agricultural supplement. The empty canister of Batch #4 stands in Avalia's lab as a reminder of the night Willare reached for the wrong shelf.
"Last Breath" (Master Tape)
Cursed Recording
The final recording of the band Hellbound. Legend says the frequency of the last chord was matched to the exact moment Galarian Freiton's heart stopped.
